King Lentil Bentil and Queen Tomatina are worried that their son, Prince Pilchard, spends too much time on his computer and will never meet a Princess to marry. When Pilchard falls for the mysterious Olivia, the King and Queen’s fears are increased. Is she or is she not a real Princess? There is, of course, only one way to find out.
This tale, made famous by Hans Christian Anderson, comes from the collection of Skinny Widd Tales – Theatre of Widdershins’ unplugged storytelling – where tales are told with simple puppets and propos, and children are encouraged to add their own voice and energy.
