Stony Stratford Big Lunch 2023

The Town Council and the Events Working Group are delighted to confirm that The Big Lunch will be back this year on 4th June at a new location - The Millfield - from 12 – 4pm. The event will be slightly different this year as it will be The Big Lunch at the Stony Stratford Riverside Fair combining the best of both of these Stony events!  

There will be traditional games for children, children’s entertainment, music from Bradwell Silver Band, a photo booth and more and it’s free! Bring a picnic or take advantage of the takeaway food options on-site. We have some new, exciting activities this year including swing boats, tea-cups, a giant slide, circus skills to try, stories from Red Phoenix and the Bard, games organised by Russell Street PTA and the chance to have a go at boxing. We also have lots of stalls such as dog treats, jewellery, handicrafts and plants.  

There will be a diverse range of food including Saf’s Kitchen, Howe’s, Pizza, noodles, vegan food, Better than Mammas, Turkish sweets, ice cream, plus tea and coffee. 

We kindly ask that you walk or cycle to the event where possible - thank you. The parkland can be accessed by the leisure routes coming off Ousebank Way and Willow Lane, or from Tombs Meadow. Nearest postcode: MK11 1FH. Invite your friends and family and put the date in your diary now!
