On Wednesday 5 September at Catherine Tackley will speak about 'The Impact of Jazz in Britain'. She will explore how jazz arrived in Britain and the impact that it had on musicians, artists and the wider public. Catherine Tackley was until recently at the Open University in Milton Keynes and is now a professor of music at Liverpool University. Tickets will be available in August.
