Stony Words 2021: Burns Night

Venue: Online via ZoomOnline via Zoom
Date: 25 Jan 2021
Time: 19:30

Head and shoulders painting of Scottish poet Robert Burns. As part of the Stony Words festival on Monday, 25th January at 7.30pm, enjoy a Burns Night.

Robert Burns was Scotland’s greatest poet. If, because of Coronavirus, we cannot have an actual Burns Night to celebrate his work and life, then we will have to make do with a virtual one. Prepare your haggis at home and charge your glasses with whisky. We will bring you words, music, poetry, toasts and songs from Stony’s artistic community to ensure that January 25th is a celebration of the poet and his work. Featuring the cream of Stony Stratford/Milton Keynes literary and musical talent. Have a drink ready for the toasts!

This event will be online via Zoom and is free to attend.

Bookings are open until noon on Sunday 24th January by emailing info@stonywords.org.uk.
