Peter Waterman – November 13th (2nd Anniversary Show).

Peter was born in Tunbridge Wells in 1933. His life and work has concentrated on peoples movements and the building of new or growing towns & villages. He moved from Hatfield to the Milton Keynes area in 1968, when he was appointed as a planning officer for the Church of England, and secretary of the Bishop of Oxford’s Ecumenical Committee. He was later appointed as the Social Development Director at Milton Keynes Development Corporation, a  post he held for 16 years. Peter has lived in Stony since 1979, and in retirement initiated the public meetings and working parties that eventually  led to a Town Council. Peter was also instrumental in the formation of FoSSL (Friends of Stony Stratford Library) and has been a Governor of Watling Way schools.

Tickets are £5.00 with proceeds from them and the bar to York House Community Projects.
