Stony Tracks show for October: Paul Martin.

Paul spent the two months of his life in Old Stratford, and grew up at 104 London Road, Stony with his twin brothers. Leaving school in July 1967 he started  working life as a trainee technician / draughtsman at a firm of Structural Engineers in Bedford, later qualifying as a Structural Engineer himself. An accomplished cricketer he played for many years in the Stony Stratford first Xl primarily as an opening bowler. During 1980 an opportunity came his way to re-join his folk music mates Dave Whetstone and Jean Pierre Rasle in the Hemlock Cock and Bull Band. Their 1981 album “All Buttoned Up” became a  best seller on the topic label topping the Melody Maker charts. He still plays in the current Cock and Bull Band.

Tickets are £5.00 with proceeds from them and the bar to York House Community Projects.
