Milton Keynes City Council have secured funding from the Government/Active Travel England to develop plans for attractive, safe, high-quality walking and cycling routes to encourage and enable more people to leave the car at home, especially for shorter journeys.

MKCC would like you to help them shape the final designs. The feasibility scheme drawings for the Stony Stratford area are now available to view at Stony Stratford Library. There is a drop in session at the Library on Thursday 21st September, from 3.30-5.30pm, where there is an opportunity to talk to one of transport team members.

For more information and to view the plans on the council's website please see: https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/highways/transport-policy/local-cycling-and-walking-infrastructure-plan.

MKCC have also set up an online “Give My View Survey” for you to provide feedback: https://www.givemyview.com/reimagineMKstreets. You can also provide comments by email to cycling@milton-keynes.gov.uk. Due to the size of this project (25 schemes) they have split the surveys into areas so that you can easily provide feedback on the routes that are just in our area. MKCC recommend viewing the drawings and scheme highlights prior to completing the survey.

Please let Milton Keynes City Council know what you think of the plans and how they could improve them.
