Stony Redcaps

Stony Redcaps is a group of ladies who perform garland dances and traditional dances from the Isle of Man. We also develop our own dances from time to time - and this year we have been working on a new dance - the Lockdown Dance. This dance will be added to our repertoire and we hope to be able to showcase it at Stony Lights.

Sometimes we are invited to dance at national and international festivals, and we hope that the easing of restrictions will allow us to dance out more in the future.

Stony Redcaps has been lucky to be able to keep going over the last year, despite COVID and we are hoping that more ladies would like to join our group and have fun while learning our dances. We practice every Monday evening (apart from Bank Holidays) between 8pm and 10pm in the Greek Church Hall in London Road. We are also actively looking for musicians who would like to play for us at practices and our dance outs.
