Rosalie's Recollections of Working in 1950s Stony Stratford
Venue: York House Centre, London Road, Stony Stratford
Date: 16 Apr 2023
Time: 14:30
Rosalie Osborne is back for another lovely reminiscence of her life in Stony Stratford; this time it’s her recollections of her time working in 1950's Stony Stratford. You’ll meet some of the less well known characters. She will also go back to the early twentieth century stories as told by Miss Ada Plumb, former history teacher at the school in the building now known as “The Old School House” (recently The Plough pub).
Entry is £4.00, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, and the proceeds will go to York House’s youth, community and arts projects. Places are limited so you can ensure a seat by booking at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/574694/ or you can pay cash on the door.
The event is in the Beechey Room at the rear entrance of York House. There are ramps for wheelchair access and York House has a disabled access toilet. For more information email jukeofstony@gmail.com or visit www.york-house.org.uk.
