Reopening of Stony Stratford Library Weekend

Following the re-opening of Stony Stratford Library on 22nd March, a weekend of events is planned to celebrate the re-opening from 26th-27th March. The Mayor of Milton Keynes will officially open the Library at 12.15 on Saturday, 26th March. Please come and join us at anytime during the weekend; all are welcome.

Please note that all events are free, but the Theatre of Widdershins show is a ticketed event and tickets must be booked in advance (please see the event in our events calendar). Put the dates in your diary and come and join us for the official re-opening of your Library!

Saturday 26th March
10.30 - 11.30am Puppet Show (Theatre of Widdershins) - The Theatre Of Widdershins will be performing a storytelling show - the fabulous Pigs and Bears don’t come in pairs! The event is free, but tickets must be booked in advance by calling 01908 254050. The show is suitable for children ages 3 years and above. 
12.15pm Official opening by the Mayor of Milton Keynes
1pm – 4pm:  Act Up & Act Out youth drama groups will be performing a short play 
2 - 4pm - Music performances upstairs 
12pm - 4pm free refreshments will be available 

Sunday 27th March
1pm – 4pm - Red Phoenix entertains with story-telling, poets and spoken word. 
Join Red Phoenix for a Story Stroll around external environs of library. 
1 - 4pm - performances by Stony Stratford Theatre Group upstairs
