Remembrance Service 2018

The Annual Remembrance Service will be on 11th November. This is organised by the Stony Stratford Lions Club. All are welcome to attend.
Important - Remembrance Sunday: With this year being the Centenary of the End of the Great War, Remembrance Sunday will be observed by an enhanced Act of Remembrance in the afternoon in Stony Stratford.
As originally envisaged, the Service will commence in Church. The uniformed organisations and schoolchildren will be sat alongside the dignitaries at the front of church. Everyone will Process to the War Memorial via the High Street and Horsefair Green led by the Processional Cross and Torches.
At the War Memorial, the Service will conclude with the Laying of Wreathes, the Last Post, the Great Silence & Reveille.
THE SERVICE WILL COMMENCE AT 14:15 IN ST MARY & ST GILES CHURCH.
