FS@50 Celebration

Fullers Slade is celebrating its 50th birthday this year! Plans are taking shape for a large outdoor event on Saturday 19th August from 2pm – 6pm.  It will be on the grassland that adjoins the Rowans Centre in Moorfoot, Fullers Slade. FSRA and The Estate Renewal Forum are coming together to organise slots for food vendors, stall holders, charities, entertainers, and community groups. FSRA would also like to hear from anyone that might like to volunteer to be part of the event crew. Their reward will be lots of fun. Talking of fun, two bands are already booked for the afternoon. These are Frostbite, a piano based rock and pop cover band from Milton Keynes and Ukie TooNes; a fabulous ukelele band that have raised thousands of pounds for local charities during the past 10 years. In particular, they are strong supporters of Stony Stratford’s Noel Wilson and his charity, Motorsport 4 MS. Details can be found on their website https://www.ukietoones.org.uk/fundraising.
