FoSSL Talk: From Book to Screen & Writing for Both

FoSSL's first talk of 2023 will be part of the Stony Words literary festival. Renowned author Sarah Pinborough (who lives locally in Stony Stratford) has recently had some of her books adapted for the screen, and ‘Behind Her Eyes’ has already appeared on Netflix and the topic of her talk will be ‘From book to screen and writing for both’.
Her talk will cover the different approaches to writing for the mediums of prose and screen, what to expect as a working environment in both fields, tips to help when starting out, and a Q&A answering any questions the audience may have along the way.
"Sarah Pinborough is a New York Times bestselling and Sunday Times Number one and Internationally bestselling author and screenwriter who is published in over 30 territories worldwide. Having published more than 25 novels across various genres, her recent books include Behind Her Eyes, now a smash hit Netflix limited series, Dead To Her, now in development with Amazon Studios, and The Death House in development with Compelling Pictures. Sarah lives with her dog Ted and, amongst other projects, is currently adapting her most recent novel Insomnia for Left Bank Pictures to film in 2023."
