Folk on the Green is back this year - Sunday 12th June between 12-midday and 7pm. We are looking forward once again to seeing you all there.
Folk on the Green, the town's annual pop-up musical extravaganza is held on beautiful Horsefair Green every June. Started way back in 1974, it might now be the longest running open access outdoor live music event anywhere in the country (or is that just another Cock and Bull Story?). Attracting thousands, it provides an opportunity for the very best local musicians to showcase their talents to a wider audience. Budding musicians get to play alongside established performers from Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes and a few places further afield. It's a friendly music festival with lots of stalls and some great food, AND IT'S STILL FREE ADMISSION (although please give generously when the blanket comes around!). You won't find Folk on the Green widely advertised outside of the town - it's our special secret and we like to keep it just the way it is.
