Floodmobile Visit to Stony Stratford
Venue: Market Square, Stony Stratford
Date: 05 Aug 2021
Time: 10:00 to - 16:00
Do you have questions about how to make your property more flood resilient? Then come and visit the Floodmobile, which will be in Stony Stratford Market Square on Thursday 5th August 10am-4pm. Hosted by Milton Keynes Council, the Floodmobile is part of a broader regional project called the OX-CAM pathfinder project, which aims to increase the effective uptake of Property Flood Resilience (PFR) across the 7 local authority areas in the Oxford-Cambridge arc. The Floodmobile showcases 50 different property flood resilience measures, to demonstrate the adaptations that can be introduced to a property to help reduce the impact future flooding can have. Two guest speakers, Mary Dhonau and Fola Ogunyoye, will engage with residents at the event to share their expertise. All residents are welcome to attend, and can turn up any time between 10am and 4pm.
