The vocal group Coro Fortuna makes its return to performing, presenting a lively and varied programme of choral music for female voices in the church of Holy Trinity Deanshanger on Sunday November 7th at 6pm.
Coro Fortuna first sang together almost two years ago in St Guthlac’s, Passenham, in a concert of Christmas music. On November 3rd their wide-ranging programme of solos and ensembles includes masterpieces for female choir from the Romantic era, works by modern masters such as Max Reger, Benjamin Britten and Ola Gjeilo, pieces inspired by folk and traditional music, seasonal Christmas compositions, and popular dance hall hits from the 1930s and 40s, such as A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square - something for everybody, in fact!

The choir is accompanied and directed by experienced conductor John Byron. the founder conductor of the chamber choir Polymnia - they recently gave two concerts in Milton Keynes with the the world-renowned soprano Lesley Garrett.
