Casting Workshops for Shakespeare's Measure to Measure

Directed by Caz Tricks, Stony Stratford Theatre Society (SSTS) will be staging Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure from Friday April 19th to Tuesday April 23rd (Shakespeare’s birthday) 2024.
Stony Stratford Theatre Society are holding Casting Workshops for anyone aged 18+ on November 12th and 19th from 10am - 1pm.
No experience necessary but an open mind and the desire to have fun is essential.
There will be warm-ups/games, improvisation, singing and some text work but no need to prepare unless you want to be familiar with the story.
Bring something to drink, although there will be tea/coffee etc, please bring a notebook and pen/pencil if you can.
Please come to the back door of Stony Stratford Library on the day.

SSTS began with a panto about 10 years ago, since then we have staged one full Shakespeare play (The Merchant of Venice), numerous Shakespeare promenade performances as part of Stony Live!, several more pantos, several Dickens evenings raising money for the Food Bank and lots more.
