Stony Stratford Town & Riverside Walks

This leaflet provides you with information on historic places of interest for you to visit on your tour of Stony town and a map for your tour. The Town Walk is approximately a mile long and takes around 45 minutes. There are three Riverside walks of varying lengths. Pop into one of the fantastic variety of independent shops along the way. Stony Stratford Nature Reserve provides a variety of artificially created wetland habitats especially for waterfowl and waders. This route starts from the car park off Stratford Road, heading up Watermill Lane before following alongside the River Great Ouze. Eventually the route heads underneath the A5 and into the path surrounding the nature reserve itself before eventually making it back down Watermill Lane to the car park.
