The Town Crier
The Town Crier is a quarterly community newsletter edited and published by Stony Stratford Town Council and is distributed to all households in Fullers Slade, Galley Hill and Stony town at the end of March, June, September and December.
The aim of the newsletter is to inform local parish residents about Town Council activities and community initiatives, issues and events. In 2010, The Town Crier won the Milton Keynes Parish Council newsletter competition award.
There are opportunities to sponsor the Town Crier newsletter and this community website. You would be the sole sponsor of the newsletter which would entitle you to a half page advert/editorial and your logo and website on the front cover (we would not accept any other advertising apart from yours). You can sponsor a single edition or more, or you can sponsor all 4 editions for the year. Please contact Melanie Hyde at the Town Council for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org, tel: 01908 566726.
The newsletter does not carry advertising (unless you are a sponsor), but if you are a business and want to promote your services locally, you may wish to contact either Essentially Local or the local newspapers. Stony Stratford Business Association may also be able to help you.
