Town & Riverside Walks

The Town Walk is approximately a mile long and takes around 45 minutes. There are three Riverside walks of varying lengths.

Pop into one of the fantastic variety of independent shops along the way. Have a drink or a bite to eat in one of the local cafes, hotels, restaurants or pubs, of which there are a wonderful selection to choose from. Leaflet courtesy Stony Stratford Business Association. Stony Stratford Nature Reserve

The Parks Trust

Stony Stratford Nature Reserve

Stony Stratford Nature Reserve provides a variety of artificially created wetland habitats especially for waterfowl and waders. This route starts from the car park off Stratford Road, heading up Watermill Lane before following alongside the River Great Ouze. Eventually the route heads underneath the A5 and into the path surrounding the nature reserve itself before eventually making it back down Watermill Lane to the car park.
