The annual Remembrance Sunday Parade
The annual Remembrance Sunday Parade is organised by The MK Lions at the War Memorial on Horsefair Green.
The Rector of St Mary and St Giles C of E Church officiates the service and a variety of people bring and lay wreaths including MK Council, Stony Stratford Town Council, ex Servicemen’s organizations, Rotary and Lions Clubs, Uniformed Youth Groups and the RAOB.
The youth uniformed organisations parade from the back of the Cock Hotel down the High Street to the War Memorial on Horsefair Green. Road Closures are London Road, Wolverton Road and Horsefair Green Road.
A collection is organised for the British Legion ‘poppy fund’.
The service begins at 3.00pm on the Remembrance Sunday.
