Stony Stratford Oxfam Shop Needs Volunteers

Our lovely Oxfam shop in Stony Straford is currently desperately in need of new volunteers - can you help?

The shop is looking for volunteers (preferably over 18) to help with a variety of roles in all areas of the shop including customer service/till work on the shop floor, merchandising stock, sorting and pricing donation and listing and dispatching items sold online. Most volunteers do 1 shift a week at 4 hours but this is flexible to fit most schedules.

It is a great experience and the amazing team at the shop will make any new starter feel welcomed and instantly part of the shop team. There are shifts available throughout the week and anyone interested in volunteering can either email jponsford1@oxfam.org.uk or pop into the shop and speak to a member of the team anytime.

Here is a little information about Oxfam: We are a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty. That means we tackle the inequality that keeps people poor. Together we save, protect and rebuild lives. When disaster strikes, we help people build better lives for themselves, and for others. We take on issues like land rights, climate change and discrimination against women. And we won’t stop until every person on the planet can enjoy life free from poverty.
