Small Meeting Place, Galley Hill

Stony Stratford Town Council (SSTC) is aware that it has been incorrectly implied that ownership and responsibility for the Small Meeting Place and Arts Centre, Barford, Galley Hill rests with Stony Stratford.  The building and associated business premises are the responsibility of Milton Keynes Council.  For about the past four years, SSTC have been working with and petitioning Milton Keynes Council to bring the building up to a standard to enable it to be used by the Community.  Most recently, a response to the Milton Keynes Council 2021 Budget consultation was submitted, querying why, despite the promise of capital funding to refurbish the building, this was not mentioned in the Budget.
