The Town Crier Newsletter

The Town Crier is a quarterly community newsletter edited and published by Stony Stratford Town Council and is distributed to all households in Fullers Slade, Galley Hill and Stony town at the end of March, June, September and December.

The aim of the newsletter is to inform local parish residents about Town Council activities and community initiatives, issues and events. In 2010, The Town Crier won the Milton Keynes Parish Council newsletter competition award.

Sponsorship

There are opportunities to sponsor the Town Crier newsletter and this community website. You would be the sole sponsor of the newsletter which would entitle you to a half page advert/editorial and your logo and website on the front cover (we would not accept any other advertising apart from yours). The newsletter does not carry advertising (unless you are a sponsor), but if you are a business and want to promote your services locally, you may wish to contact the local newspapers. Stony Stratford Business Association may also be able to help you.

Copy deadline dates for Town Crier 2025

Spring Issue 89: Copy deadline – 15th February 2025. Distributed by end of March.
Summer Issue 90: Copy deadline – 15th May 2025. Distributed by end of June.
Autumn Issue 91: Copy deadline – 15th August 2025. Distributed by end of September.
Winter Issue 92: Copy deadline – 15th November 2025 (unless it’s news and pictures regarding Stony Lights Switch On). Distributed by Christmas Eve.
