Support from Works For Us for those seeking employment
We realise that, during the next few months, many more people will be looking for work - many of whom will not be aware of the services and support we can provide. Although our offices are currently closed, we continue to provide free help and advice by phone, email and Zoom and all our courses are available online. We can also provide help for those that need to develop their computer skills, to enable them to search for jobs.
We will be looking to open our offices at some point in the future for those that need face to face appointments - once we can ensure it is safe to do so.
We are facing a challenging time and, having supported residents in Milton Keynes for over 40 years, we remain committed to helping those that need us.

Support for MK residents who re unemployed due to COVID-19
Age UK recognise that our communities are facing challenges during this time and the loss of employment can be a shock to people. Those who have had to sign onto Universal Credit may not be receiving job search support from the Job Centres due to limited opening. They can offer that support via phone/email and skype. They understand that the job market will be a very different place after COVID, the support they can give is not time limited and they can offer holistic support too for example counselling.
