Coronavirus update: StonyLive! Postponed: "After further review, the StonyLive! co-ordination committee have decided to postpone StonyLive! 2020. This is because current self isolation advice for vulnerable people extends into the dates for StonyLive!. At all times we want to comply with government advice and maintain the health and safety of all concerned. We use the word “postpone” because we want StonyLive! to be a fundamental part of Stony Stratford's recovery and we will be making plans for that as soon as it is safe to do so. Because of the nature of the festival, using the pubs, restaurants and community spaces of Stony Stratford, we are very much aligned to their ability to open. This may mean, should they be open during the StonyLive! week, that some events may still go ahead but these will be stand alone events. Please talk to the venues for their plans. Our aim is always to support Stony Stratford and when the time is right, we will make the appropriate decisions to bring the best in music and art to your town. Please stay safe.”

StonyLive! is an annual nine-day festival of the arts and community activities held at the beginning of June.

It started as a modest long-weekend of music back in 1998 but now has around 90 events, encompassing many forms of performing and visual arts and community events, including art and photography, a great variety of music, classic cars, poetry and spoken word, dancing in the street, walks and talks, exhibitions, and even a bit of horticulture – pretty much something for everybody.

StonyLive! is always looking for new performers, new event organisers, and new ideas.
It also depends on a crew of volunteers for such things as stewarding and liaison and, of course, committee members. Could YOU be one of the team? Please contact us.
