Stony Stratford hosts a wide range of popular events throughout the year, attracting visitors throughout the region.

StonyLive! is an annual nine-day festival of the arts and community activities held at the beginning of June, with some 90 events at a variety of venues throughout the town. Folk on the Green is the town's annual musical extravaganza held on Horsefair Green in June. The Town Fayre is a great day out on August Bank Holiday with many stalls and attractions.  The popular Christmas Light Switch On Fun Day is held in late November or early December. Don't forget StonyWords!, a January festival of words to beat the winter blues!

An all year round event is Stony Stratford in Bloom, who have won a GOLD award in the Regional finals of Britain in Bloom 5 times and and are 6 times winners of the Thames and Chilterns Region Small Town Trophy! The judges may come to the town in July and August but the community works all year round to make our town a great place to live, work and visit.
