Electric Vehicle Chargers Update

Milton Keynes City Council have successfully been awarded a government grant to install electric vehicle chargers in residential areas. The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) had an open call for authorities to submit applications to deliver on-street charging solutions for residents with no access to charging at home (i.e. driveway). MKCC has submitted an application and has been successful in being awarded funding.

The following locations have been awarded grant funding and charging points are expected to be installed this week (week commencing 11th September):

• Millfield Car Park – 4 charging points
• Telegraph Walk Car Park – 4 charging points
• Horn Lane – 4 charging points to be confirmed shortly
