Senior Youth Club
Wednesdays 6.00 pm – 7.45 pm. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE YOUTH CLUB DOES NOT MEET DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS OR ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.
We are a Senior Youth Group, designed to meet the needs of the young people attending. We provide a safe place for recreation, organised activities and relaxation time with friends. We meet every Wednesday, during school term time, early evening, 6.00-7.45pm. All young people of secondary school ages are welcome!
Previously we have enjoyed indoor sports, workshops in carpentry and graffiti, cookery, team gardening projects, arts & craft and team challenges and sports. We have recently had an awesome day trip to Caldecotte to experience canoeing and kayaking and are planning two summer trips. We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch of secondary school aged young people. We’re looking forward to a big recycling project, a fundraiser, workshops in Fencing and making homes for wildlife, photo challenges and more in the coming months.
The group is led by Tash Darling BSc (Hons) an experienced and enthusiastic, community and schools local youth worker, who is supported by dedicated CRB’d volunteers. Please contact Tash on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07949 402862.
