Junior Youth Club

Mondays, 6.00pm – 7.30pm @ York House Centre, London Road, MK11 1J. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE YOUTH CLUB DOES NOT MEET DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS OR ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

We are a Junior Youth Group, designed to meet the needs of the young people attending.  We provide a safe place for recreation, organised activities and relaxation time with friends plus occasional workshops and off-site trips. We meet every Monday, during school term time.  All young people aged 8 to 12 years are welcome!

Every week there are arts activities, drama/music, sports, games and lots more - plus time to just chill with friends.  We are very keen that, despite the informal nature of the club, we also offer opportunities for the children to develop life skills such as teamwork and collaboration .  But the most important aim is that the children have fun in a safe environment.

The group is led by Alice Fowle (an experienced and enthusiastic youth worker) on behalf of Youth Network-MK.  All staff & volunteers are DBS checked.

Subs are £1 per week, plus fruit kebab tuck shop.

Enquiries: Contact Debra Simpkins: debra.simpkins@ynmk.org or 07483 107016. This club is joint-funded by Stony Stratford Town Council and York House Centre.
