St Mary and St Giles Church of England Aided School
St Mary and St Giles Church of England Aided School is a voluntary aided Church of England School, founded in 1611, to serve the children of Stony Stratford and the village of Calverton. The school provides education for up to 476 children aged between 3 and 11. Our South site on Galley Hill caters for Early Years, Infants and Juniors, whilst our North site in King George Crescent is for Junior pupils only.

In terms of numbers we can accept, we have a 26 place nursery which operates mornings only, then 30 places per year-group at the South site for Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6. (A total of 206 places). At the North site we have 90 places in Year 3 this September, and 60 places in Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6. (A total of 270 places) Each year we will increase our intake to 90 children as they come up, so next year it will be 90 in Year 3 and Year 4, and 60 in Year 5 and 6, so we go from 270, to 300, to 330, to 360 - and that will be our maximum.

Those children who will be four during the school year, that is those children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015, will be admitted to Nursery from September 2018 in the term after their third birthday.

Stony BizKids After School Club is for children aged 5+ and based in Swinfen Harris Church Hall on London Road, with walking collection from Russell Street School and St Mary and St Giles C of E Junior School.
