Stony Stratford Town Council employs two part-time staff who are based in the town council office in the library in Stony Stratford. They support the town councillors' activities and help people living and working in Stony town, Fullers Slade and Galley Hill.

The town clerk, Charles Brindley, attends all meetings to make sure that decisions are taken legally and then carried out properly. He also advises the councillors on policy regulations and regularly talks to local and regional authorities on the town council's behalf. The town clerk is generally the first point of contact for local residents.

Ursula Lewis, the information officer, supports Charles Brindley and deals with specific projects for the town council. She also edits the Town Crier newsletter and this website. Comments and suggestions are always welcome on how the town council can provide the community with better information on local projects, events and issues.
