Stony Stratford NAG Priorites Update

Stony Stratford Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) is set up to deal with the key issues identified by the community’s public consultation on a local level. Your Neighbourhood Team, made up of local residents, Milton Keynes Council officers, members of the Town Council, Thames Valley Police representatives, local businesses, associations, and Barwatch, have all worked together on the issues your community raised in 2008.

In September we gave an update on the Consultation results. The responses have now been fully analysed and the 3 top priorities have been set which are:

• ASB (Anti Social Behaviour)
• Parking
• Litter.

We have also started work on the 42 issues raised that fell into the “Other category” which do not fit into a set category such as parking etc. We hope to have resolved or closed off in the next few months.

All of the residents that returned the consultation where they have requested either call backs or email responses should now have been contacted with initial updates.
If you have not had a response please email to stonystratfordnag@googlemail.com
or visit us on visit www.safermk.co.uk and click on Safer Neighbourhoods to find our local NAG details and we respond accordingly.

The NAG is now in the process of putting together plans as to how we they can best deal with resolving the issues raised from the priorities.

During the future months we will provide updates on the progress either via the Town crier and directly to those people have that requested updates.

We welcome new members from Stony Stratford, Galley Hill and Fullers Slade, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to join the NAG.

Regards

Acting Chair for Stony Stratford NAG and Resident.
