If you have images baking cakes and making jams when you think of WI meetings then it’s time to think again! Take a look at the Stony Stratford Evening WI.
Our group, newly formed in 2009, has really exciting speakers and social trips throughout the year. Just a couple of presentations from last year were a Hoop Dancing specialist encouraging us to have a go and an enlightening talk on Aromatherapy. 2010 looks to be every bit as much fun with food demonstrations, a garden designer and a trip to the theatre to name a few.
We meet in the Crown public house, Market Square, Stony Stratford every second Thursday of each month at 8pm, so if you fancy a tipple or a hot chocolate there is plenty of choice. If you are interested in a fun night out with a sociable group of ladies then come along to the upstairs function room of the Crown where everyone is welcome as a new member or just drop in as a visitor and pay £2.50 on the door.
